Summer in the Dolomites

Hiking, climbing and fixed rope routes

Slow walks or extreme adventures? It's up to you to decide. The surroundings of the Scotoni Mountain Hut in Alta Badia offer, in summer, a vast variety of activities. Immersed in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, the Lagazuoi Alp is a corner of peace and serenity in the stunning scenery of the Dolomites, that even cows that graze here on pastures seem to enjoy. Most of the trails in this area range from easy to medium difficulty level, which makes them perfect for a revitalizing high-altitude trekking, suitable even for families. While the nearby mounts Scotoni, Torre del Lago and Conturines feature exciting climbing routes, approved by world-famous climbers like Messner and Lacedelli. Just a stone's throw away there are the legendary fixed rope routes (via ferratas) Tomaselli and Veronesi. Upon return from the latter one, you can pass right by the Scotoni Hut.
